Jay-Z is returning to Yankee Stadium for a third summer concert, with Roc Nation dubbing the event “Extra Innings” in a social media announcement on Tuesday. It is scheduled for Sunday, July 12. Tina Knowles time at the 2026 Houston Rodeo has garnered tons of attention, but for all the wrong reasons. Recently, Knowles’ Gumbo booth was temporarily shut down by the Houston Health Department for “undisclosed reasons.” Now, the shocking reason behind the closure has been revealed. According to TMZ, the Texas pop-up eatery was shut down after a customer complained they vomited blood after eating the gumbo. Houston’s KPRC 2 News also reported on the incident. The outlet obtained health department records that noted a customer became “wildly ill” after eating at Knowles’ establishment. Per the report, the customer claimed that, in addition to throwing up blood, they experienced “chills, nausea, and a fever.” Apparently, the gumbo was cooked off-site, cooled, and then stuffed into buckets and later hauled off to a freezer at an unlicensed location. The food was then transported to a refrigerated trailer and thawed before being served. The report also noted that Knowles lacked the required temperature logs that showed the cooling and storage times of the gumbo. The inspector also reportedly “observed bags of frozen shrimp and crab with a label that stated ‘keep frozen.’” The department also reported that the alleged food source was not listed on the approved permit application. Furthermore, the food prepared more than 24 hours prior to serving was not dated. Another added, “Lol it’s okay she tried it’s time to find another business. That’s part of being an entrepreneur lol,” while a third commented, “Wondering if the ppl who threw up were eating all kinds of different foods, drinking liquor with no water and walking in the HOUSTON HOT SUN FOR HOURS.” Prior to the news coverage, a video circulated online from an alleged customer of Mama Tina’s who claimed they became ill at the Houston eatery. In the short video, the unknown alleged customer shows a text message from a Health Department representative. The validity of the text message is still up for debate. On the other hand, according to Beyoncé fans, the situation was just a form of sabotage.

LaGuardia Airport was shut down for hours after a deadly collision between a passenger jet and a fire truck on a runway late Sunday, authorities said. The crash killed two pilots and injured dozens of others, sending shockwaves through one of the nation’s busiest air hubs. The airport halted operations overnight and into Monday morning as emergency crews responded and investigators began their work. Officials said the aircraft, an Air Canada Express regional jet arriving from Montreal, struck a Port Authority fire truck shortly after landing. There were 72 passengers and four crew members aboard the plane at the time of the collision. Crash Details and Immediate Response The impact crushed the front of the aircraft and left the fire truck overturned near the runway, according to officials briefed on the scene. Emergency responders rushed to evacuate passengers and treat the injured. At least 40 people, including passengers and crew, were taken to nearby hospitals. Some suffered serious injuries, though most were later released. Two firefighters aboard the truck were also hurt but are expected to survive, authorities said. Air traffic control audio captured moments before the crash revealed urgency and confusion. A controller can be heard warning the vehicle repeatedly to stop. “Stop, stop, stop,” the controller said, seconds before the collision, according to recordings reviewed by investigators. The jet was traveling at a relatively low speed during landing, but the force of the crash caused catastrophic damage to the cockpit. Both the pilot and co-pilot were pronounced dead at the scene. Transportation officials described the incident as a “horrific crash” and confirmed that federal investigators were deployed within hours. Airport Shutdown and Ongoing Investigation The Federal Aviation Administration issued a ground stop immediately after the crash, closing LaGuardia Airport and diverting incoming flights to nearby airports, including JFK and Newark.  Travelers faced widespread delays and cancellations as airlines worked to rebook passengers and restore schedules. “LaGuardia Airport is now open, expect delays and/or cancellations,” airport officials said in a statement posted Monday. The National Transportation Safety Board has launched a full investigation into the cause of the crash. Officials said cockpit voice recordings and air traffic communications will be critical to understanding what went wrong. Preliminary information suggests the fire truck may have been cleared to cross the runway before being told to stop, though investigators have not reached a final conclusion. Leaders in New York and Canada expressed condolences to the victims’ families. Officials called the loss of the pilots a profound tragedy and praised their service. As the investigation continues, aviation experts say the incident raises serious questions about runway safety and coordination between ground vehicles and incoming aircraft. Operations at LaGuardia have since resumed, but disruptions are expected to continue as authorities examine the crash site and review procedures.

Chance the Rapper has prevailed in his legal battle against his ex-manager Pat Corcoran. ​According to the Chicago Sun Times, a Cook County jury found Corcoran had not proven that Chance owed him “$3.8 million in unpaid commissions and royalties” as stated in the lawsuit. “I claim victory in the name of the. Lord,” Chance said after the verdict was handed down at the Daley Center. ​In Chance’s countersuit, he sought $1 million in damages, but the jurors decided Corcoran must pay $35. Also, Corcoran must “turn over the internet domain name ChanceRaps.com, which Corcoran had used to sell Chance the Rapper merchandise.” According to Corcoran’s attorneys, the final verdict  was a split decision because no side was granted a substantial monetary award. “We respect the jury’s decision, but the message to music managers is clear: Get it in writing,” said Jay Scharkey, one of Corcoran’s attorneys. “The jury award of $35 speaks to how seriously the jury viewed Chance’s case.” Precious Jacobs-Perry, Chance’s attorney, said the verdict was “a complete vindication” for her client. Chance’s attorney speaks: “The jury heard the evidence for more than two weeks and reached the correct conclusion: Mr. Bennett never agreed to pay commissions after his management relationship with Pat Corcoran ended, and Mr. Corcoran breached their contract,”the statement read. “This ruling is not only a victory for Mr. Bennett, but it is also a victory for independent artists everywhere. … And, above all, we are happy for our client who has been standing on principle for years.” In November 2020, Corcoran sued Chance for breach of contract, claiming he was owed over $3 million in unpaid commissions. The suit alleged that Chance failed to honor a 2013 oral agreement that entitled the manager to a 15% share of net profits from music, merchandise, and touring.  After the release of Chance’s 2019 debut studio album, The Big Day, and the subsequent cancellation of its tour due to low ticket sales. Corcoran’s suit specifically sought “sunset clause” payments—commissions for three years post-termination.

A California jury has ruled that comedian Bill Cosby is liable for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman more than 50 years ago, adding another chapter to the long legal saga surrounding the once-dominant television star. The verdict, delivered Monday in California, orders Cosby to pay $59.25 million in damages to Donna Motsinger, a former waitress who accused the comedian of assaulting her in 1972. Jurors awarded $17.5 million for past emotional trauma and another $1.75 million for future suffering. The panel also imposed $40 million in punitive damages. Cosby’s legal team quickly signaled the fight is not over. His attorney, Jennifer Bonjean, said the defense plans to challenge the decision in court. In a statement to The Associated Press, Bonjean said the team was “disappointed by the verdict” and intends to file an appeal. Motsinger’s lawsuit traces the incident back to her time working at The Trident, a well-known Bay Area restaurant that once hosted celebrities and touring performers. According to court filings, Cosby invited her to attend one of his comedy shows at the now-closed Circle Star Theater. Jury Finds Bill Cosby Liable For $19 Million Dollars In 1972 Sexual Assault Verdict The complaint says Cosby arranged a limousine and offered her wine during the ride to the show. Motsinger alleges that after arriving backstage she began feeling ill and accepted what Cosby described as an aspirin. Soon afterward, she said she lost consciousness. “Next thing she knew, she was going in and out of consciousness while two men attending to Mr. Cosby were putting her in the limousine,” the complaint states. Motsinger later testified she woke at home partially undressed and concluded she had been drugged and assaulted. Her lawsuit also targeted Cosby’s production company, Jemmin Inc., claiming the company was “vicariously liable” for his actions. The suit further alleged employees at the Circle Star Theater “knew or should have known of the dangerous drugged and sedated state” she experienced. The verdict adds to Cosby’s long list of legal battles. In 2018, a Pennsylvania jury convicted him of sexual assault in a case involving Andrea Constand. However, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court vacated that conviction in 2021 after ruling prosecutors violated a prior agreement. Cosby has consistently denied the allegations. Young Thug drew criticism from animal rights advocates, PETA, after sharing an Instagram photo of a luxury garment made from Alligator leather during a recent visit to Miami, Florida. OJ Da Juiceman faces multiple criminal charges in Georgia following a highway confrontation that prosecutors say involved a firearm pointed at a state trooper. The Atlanta rapper, whose legal name is Rapeze Wilborn, was arrested March 15 after authorities issued a warrant tied to a January incident on Interstate 20, according to law enforcement records. The case includes 10 charges, led by felony counts of aggravated assault on a public safety officer and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. According to the officer’s report, the driver passed the patrol car and “pointed a black handgun directly at him” before accelerating away through traffic. The trooper reported encountering the same vehicle again moments later. During that second interaction, the driver allegedly aimed the firearm toward the officer once more before leaving the scene. Rapper OJ Da Juiceman Arrested In Highway Incident, Hit With 10 Felony Charges Investigators later connected the vehicle to a rented Nissan Altima. Authorities subsequently identified Wilborn as the suspected driver and obtained an arrest warrant in February. Officers arrested him the following month. In addition to the felony counts, prosecutors filed misdemeanor charges including pointing or aiming a firearm at another person and several traffic violations related to reckless driving. Defense counsel has contested the state’s identification of Wilborn as the driver. During bond proceedings, attorneys submitted a sworn affidavit from a woman who said she rented the Nissan Altima involved in the case.
