Tyler, The Creator Doesn’t Want Quick Reviews Of His New Album

Tyler, The Creator doesn’t want reviews of his new album after one day.

Responding to a tweet from the  @nfr_podcast that asked followers to chose between CHROMAKOPIA or his latest album, DON’T TAP THE GLASS, Tyler shared why he was not feeling the idea.

“yall gotta stop doing this. everyone tho,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter.)

“it hasnt been 10 hours, just let it be what it is. a fun short upbeat urgent braggadocious album to a diary post about abortion and hair and aging and whatever else i was crying about lol,” he added. “please just let it rock if you rock with it and if you dont then move the damn on lol.”

Tyler also explained that he new album “was not made for sitting still but for  “any type of movement is recommended to maybe understand the spirit of it.”

To celebrate the album’s release, Tyler also hosted a secret $5 show in Los Angeles, creating a phone-free, sweat-soaked dance environment. “Everyone was dancing. Moving. Expressing. Sweating,” he wrote. “It felt like that pent up energy finally got released.”

Currently, Tyler is still performing the “Chromakopia” tour, finishing out a four-night run at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in New York City on Friday. After some upcoming dates in North America, before he heads overseas to Australia, Japan, South Korea, and Thailand. Then, he’s off to the  Philippines for two final dates at Araneta Coliseum on September 20-21.
