Pooh Shiesty’s legal troubles have taken a new turn. The rapper—real name Lontrell D. Williams Jr.—was arrested on Wednesday by federal officers in Dallas, Texas, TMZ reports. Hours earlier, FBI officials had conducted a raid on his Memphis home. Amid the raid, the rapper’s father, Lontrell D. Williams Sr., was also placed in custody. Sources tell TMZ the rapper has been booked in connection with a criminal case. However, the charges against the rapper, along with his father, have yet to be revealed.
It’s only been a few months since the rapper was released from federal prison after serving over five years in connection with a 2020 Florida shooting. The rapper received an early release back in October 2025 after a combination of time served and good behavior. A press conference has been scheduled for later today. Stay tuned for further updates.
