During a Stationhead live, the “Barbie Dreams” rapper told her followers while she thought it was a “kind gesture,” her “integrity wouldn’t allow her to accept it.” Nicki claims the invitation came around the release of Pink Friday 2. In her opinion, the decision “made absolutely no sense.”
She added, “I thought it was kind of them to try. Why would I be sitting on the board if I don’t have a Grammy?”

To make the proposition even more enticing, Ross offered Minaj equity in the platform—signaling just how serious he is about bringing her into the fold.
